Egg drop

 


Kia ora bloggers! On Wensday we did a steam project what we had to do was to make a  product with only things we were given that we put in a egg and dropped it from a 3 metre high stair case. I was in a team with Ella d,Brooke k, AJ and Talia. Our egg did shatter but our team worked really well. Do you think if you did this you would have a good idea and your egg would not brake. 

Equipment:  

  • 3 sheets of A4 photocopy paper

  • A plastic bag

  • 1m of string

  • 1 sheet of A5 thin card

  • Cellotape

  • Scissors

  • Paper to sketch design on

    Hello Isla,
    If I'd done it I think I would've put the egg in the plastic bag, cut a small hole in the top of the bag for the string to fit through and then made a pulley sort of thing.
    Did you have to use all of the things on your list?
